This policy explains what information Yimbie ("we", "us") collects when you use yimbie.com and its games, why, and what choices you have. We keep the data we collect to the minimum needed to run the games.
1. Who is responsible

2. What we collect

We do not ask for your real name, address, phone number or payment details, and we do not sell personal data.
3. Leaderboards
If you have an account, your player name and scores can be seen by other players on the leaderboards. Choose a player name that does not identify you if you prefer to stay anonymous. Your email address is never shown.
4. Who processes the data for us
- Cloudflare hosts the website and delivers it securely.
- Supabase stores accounts and game progress for signed-in players and sends sign-in emails.
- Google Fonts provides the fonts used on the site; your browser loads them from Google.
- Google AdSense (if ads are enabled) shows advertising. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, if you allow it. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services and change your choices at Google Ad Settings.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, they rely on safeguards approved by the European Commission, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep data
Guest progress stays in your browser until you clear it. Account data is kept while your account exists; ask us to delete your account and we will remove it within 30 days. Technical logs are kept by our hosting providers for a short time, usually no longer than 30 days.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Romania this is the ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
7. Children
Yimbie is a general audience site and is not directed at children under 13. Accounts are meant for players aged 16 or older (or the minimum age in your country) unless a parent or guardian agrees. If you believe a child has given us personal data without permission, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. Account data is stored with access rules so each player can only change their own data.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Important changes will also be shown on the site.
